  • Mono

I've finally recovered from mono. I'm feeling good. My job is excellent. I cannot wait to start actually helping customers. I am still in training, and I am having a great time with it.  My coworkers are fun, but unfortunately I will not be working with any of them.  I have nothing funny to say here. I'll try again later. like maybe in a month or so.

  • Pretend I updated my layout

Well, I'm sitting here at my aunt and uncle's house (currently home) typing on xanga because jody accused me of being gay (not that there's anything wrong with that). Anyway, I just got hired to be a teller at Wells Fargo.  I will be receiving monetary compensation for my time behind the counter and will be working with people.  I like people, so this should be a pretty darn good little job. I just got a new cell phone today.  I kept the same number because I'm lazy.  Anyway... That's about it.  Oh yeah, I went to a new church today, well this is actually the second sunday that I've been. I like it alot. It's called Desert Springs Church.  There are a lot of young people there. Well it's dry and hot here in New Mexico. I'm anxiously awaiting Michelle's arrival here in a few weeks. oh here's something else I forgot to mention.  I have MONO.  That's right.  I shall be ill for no less than forever. Watchout, my saliva will kill you. Here's the part of the post where I wish I had some trademark sign off like "peace out" "farewell" "cheers" "great day in the morning" or something like that so... in the interest of being  extremely popular I'm going to create one. here it goes:
    Sweet Sassy Molassy I'm out

  • College is officially over.  I am done.  This is a good thing.  Although I am already missing my friends and my amazing girlfriend Michelle.  She makes my life happy. Anyway, I miss seeing everyone.  But here's where I'll be for at least a while.  I hope to see everyone again.

    I love you all

  • ipods and lonliness

In my brief time working at the ETBU healthplex, I have noticed something unusual.  People were more friendly when I first started than they are now. I don't think has anything to do with the fact that I am a wretched human that is no fun to talk with. This all has to do with the ipod and other incarnations of the mp3 player. Everyone has one now. They all just listen to their music without paying attention to the guy who works between the weights and the water fountain. It's sad, but I guess that's the way the world is going.

I suppose I am to blame too. I'm sitting here engrossed in the computer instead of sitting here with a smile weighting to talk to all the sweaty people who walk by.  Society is ruined by familiarity.
